![]() When I checked out I was in a hurry and didn't read the check-out receipt until I arrived home (lesson learned!) It was then that I discovered they charged me $750 for the two massages. ![]() Per their website these massages are $250 each, so the total should have been $500, right? Even my check-in receipt reflected this $500 cost. My wife and I stayed about 2 months ago and purchased a 90 minute hot stone massage for each of us. Had I not looked at my check-out receipt upon returning home I would have given a much better review. The website does not even list 60 minute hot stone massages as. She also pointed out that I tipped well so I must have enjoyed the massage, which is irrelevant to the fact that I was overcharged. I did receive a response to the email which explained that the extra $250 I was charged was because we changed from 60 minute massages to 90 minute massages. I included copies of both receipts as well as a printout from their website showing the price. (Why would they call back? My stay was over and they already had my money.) Finally I decided to email them through the "contact us" link on their website. I spent over a month calling to try to get this issue resolved and was told each time that someone would call me back but the call never came. No doubt we would have gone back again if we hadn't been treated so badly.Had I not looked at my check-out receipt upon returning home I would have given a much better review. Honestly the room was BEAUTIFUL and the surroundings were so peaceful. I felt like leaving immediately but since it was getting late and there was just no other place to go we stayed. So I said ok then WHY did we get a confirmation that the room was available in the first place. I said YEA I know and besides that it's my 40th Wedding Anniversary! She said they were booked since January for all rooms. They finally said SORRY you can only have the room tonight.because after all it's Valentine's Day tomorrow. So we went back down to the desk at which point another employee joined her and I could tell immediately something was wrong. She said OH well that's why there was a price difference. We had paid for a LOFT room which included a fireplace, Jacuzzi tub and breakfast the next morning. I was even more pleased.however when she led us up the steps we were mortified to see a teeny little room. When we arrived the ditzy girl at the desk said we overpaid and she quoted us a lower price. BUT "lucky us" we found this place and made the reservation.so excited that we were able to find it. Time was slipping away and since we married on Valentine's Day, we knew finding a place would be a challenge. ![]() We found this place on line and it looked like the perfect place to go for our 40th Wedding Anniversary.
